Sage Mas 90 / 200 - Crystal Reports - Graphical Check Stubs
Here is the Sage MAS 90 doc for modifying Crystal Check Stubs. It is located in the Sage MAS 90 Check Printing On-line Help (blue Question Mark button).
The Crystal Reports check form has been created as one .RPT (standard Crystal Reports file extension) file, which includes all the possible check formats. Sage MAS 90 controls which stub is used for each check format. It is important to understand that when modifying your Accounts Payable checks using Crystal Reports, the stubs for all the possible alignments appear in this file regardless of your default form layout. The order in which the stubs and check appear in the file may not be the same as what prints.
The following report sections are used depending on the option selected at the Check Form Type field in Check Printing.
Check Form Type .RPT File Section Used
Stub, Check Stub 1, Check
Check, Stub, Stub Check, Stub 3, Stub 4
Stub, Check, Stub Stub 1, Check, Stub 4
Stub, Stub, Check Stub 1, Stub 2, Check
For example, if you are making modifications for a form alignment of
Stub, Check, Stub, you will be modifying Stub 1 for the top stub and
Stub 4 for the bottom stub. You will still see the other stubs in the
layout. If you make changes to Stub 2 and Stub 3, they will not appear
on the check for the layout of Stub, Check, Stub.
After you have made modifications to your graphical forms using Crystal
Reports, you must close Crystal Reports and print an alignment pattern
using Sage MAS 90 to verify your new form layout. Due to the .RPT file
layout, printing or previewing your customized forms from Crystal
Reports will not provide you with an accurate presentation of your
final form layout.
Since the Stub Sections are not labeled 1,2,3,4, but A, B, C, D this might help:
Stub, Stub, Check Sections: A, B, C
Check, Stub, Stub Sections: C, D, E
Stub, Check, Stub Sections: B, C, D
