Enabling MAS 4.xx Custom Financial ReportingThe old MAS 3.71 Custom financials menu and all related tasks were removed from MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.00+ and no longer appear in the General Ledger menus.If your G/L Account Structure has not changed (max nine characters, three segments) you can add back the Custom Financial Reporting Menu using the *UNHIDEGL hidden utility.Run *unhidegl from the File menu.The following factors should be taken into consideration prior to running the utility:
- MAS 90 or MAS 200 must be on level 3.71 and the Custom Financials must be in the General Ledger module prior to migrating and converting to level 4.00
- The utility is not company specific.
- The tasks can only be accessed if the account structure has nine or fewer characters and three or fewer segments.
- If Custom Financials exist for a company and the total size of the account number is increased to greater than nine characters and/or greater than three segments, they are no longer available.
- After you unhide the Custom Financials menu, it cannot be re-hidden.
Note: This utility must be run each time an upgrade is installed.
