What is FRx Desktop – and why should I use it?
FRx Desktop is a financial report writer that works seamlessly with your Sage MAS 90 or Sage MAS 200 data. It allows you to create presentation quality General Ledger reports easily and efficiently. And it comes bundled with your Sage MAS 90 or Sage MAS 200 General Ledger.
FRx Desktop also allows you to report on more segments than have traditionally been allowed in Sage MAS90 and Sage MAS200. It also allows you to “roll up” or consolidate levels that are not defined in your Chart of Accounts.
A report created in FRx Desktop will be comprised of 3 “building blocks” – row formats, column formats and Reporting Trees. The building blocks are created independently and can be mixed and matched to create a myriad of reports.
If you need more sophisticated financial statements than the standard Sage MAS 90, MAS 200 provides, then FRx Desktop is the tool for you.
How to install FRx Desktop – and how to link FRx Desktop to Sage MAS 90 orSage MAS 200
To install FRx Desktop, simply put the CD in your drive. The installation wizard will walk you through the installation process.
After you have installed FRx Desktop, you will need to register it. To register, click ADMIN, then select ORGANIZATION. You will need to enter your Organization Name, Serial Number, Authorization and Registration numbers exactly as they are entered on your Sage MAS 90, MAS 200 invoice.
